About the author
Nichole G. Webster is a paramedic and author from Toronto, Ontario.
Nichole has had a passion for reading and writing ever since she was young. She is an award-winning author and professional member of the Cat Writers' Association. She has always had a strong connection with animals, especially her lovable sphynx, Fluffy.
The Fluffy the Hairless Cat series was written in honor of Fluffy, who passed away due to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) at a very young age. Most often undiagnosed, HCM is a deadly cardiac defect common in the sphynx, Maine coon, British shorthair, Persian, ragdoll, rex, and Chartreux breeds. This book series was created to honor all pets loved and lost, and to raise awareness for HCM.
Through Nichole’s playful writing and Kristina’s lively illustrations, Nichole hopes to keep Fluffy’s legacy forever alive.
